This is my thank you-- right now-- to those of you who have ed this piece of art.
Commission Piece.
A coworker asked me to do a piece with fairies in a forest. I don't do fairies, but I figured why not try. So this is my first time doing fairies and a forest background with mushrooms.
Pastel, Prismacolor pencils, some arcylic paint. This is out of my head. I didn't trace anything. I did look at some trees in my back yard, and looked at a huge fallen tree trunk with plant growth and moss on it from the movie Twilight. It the scene right after Bella confesses he's a Vampire "out loud," Edward grabs her and hikes up the hill really fast...that's where the huge tree trunk is.
Okay, mushrooms--I remembered the "to do" in composition. Threes are always pleasant to look at. That's why there are three mushrooms.
Totally! They're almost like working with oils, they're that great! A little "spit" tickling the sharpened edge and spread that color on real good! hehehehe! I got a 120 pack, but they disappear because I use them soooo much!
Eh, I don't know much methods when it comes to using prismacolours. I'll have to try that "spit tickling" thing but how does that go exactly? And how much did that 120 pk cost? At my local Walmart, a 60 pk is like $20.00 Canadian.
