This is my thank you-- right now-- to those of you who have ed this piece of art.
I loved Farscape, TV sci-fi series, now cancelled. Aeryn is John Crichton's boomerang...she always comes back. Romance.
The original art was done in pastel and prismacolors. Color-tinted charcoal paper - 18x24. It took about a week to do, but I enjoyed every stroke.
Awwww, I have always loved this piece, Cat. So crisp, so colorful, so shipper.
I do miss them. It's a great job.
Don't want to force you into anything. But in case you're interested, I've got a link for one show I'm watching that's currently airing in S. Korea. It's called: MY LOVE FROM THE STARS. First link are some pictures of the actors from google. Second link is the website where you can access this wonderful story. (This handsome alien has some awesome powers & I loved the flashbacks. It's beautifully shot! It is currently airing in Korea up to episode 4.) www.google.com/search?q=You+wh…

If you want some more suggested KDramas from me that I've watched and enjoyed, let me know. Oh, you can get a lot of these dramas if you have Netflix or HuluPlus. Let me know what you think.
I have the overwheming temptaion to text this into a Harlequin Romance novel cover.
I love this.
I love this so much.
So well done.
I usually can't stand fanart. But THIS I adore!
Just finished re-watching the entire series... Of ALL the awful cliffhangers for it to be cancelled on... I cried at the end of S4. I haven't actually seen the miniseries/TV movie thing they did to finish it a little better... not sure I want to, honestly... Just... sad everywhere >_<
Thanks again so much for your wonderful compliment.
Anyway, I didn't only FAV it because I like the series, but more so because I love the attention to detail you've given the image. Details such as the tendons rippling in the arm John is using to hold Aeryn. The colors are so beautiful and the pose is awesome. Great job.
And the fanfics that came from this show were amazing. One fanfic written by an 18-year old had me crying for a week, too.
I've drawn, did 2 music videos, written a fanfic and a fanfic spin-off. I even went to a Farscape convention in Burbank, CA. I never, ever dedicate myself to media... not like that. I was consumed.
I'm hoping Farscape takes off like Star Trek did. Star Trek benefited so well... hopefully those that love Farscape will catapult it into more shows and movies.
wanted Trek to do for years. It had a brilliant notion of using alien swear words, which I think freed up the dialogue and made it more natural. It also gave John this kind of 'going native' learning curve. Also, the pop culture references. The stunning chemistry between John and Aeryn. Splendid twists in plot and style. Just brilliant.
