"I'll take the wheel." Damon rushed to the drivers side, waited for Elena to get in her silver Toyota Camry Hybrid rental and sped down the road.

She was ruffled by what happened in there, her face pale. He could feel her heat through his jacket, like she had a fever.

"Give me the low down," Damon said.

A guy wasn't supposed to feel all this emotion, especially a prime vampire like himself. But he felt her anxious, brown eyes watching him and he saw them glistening with tears. For a moment, like hypnosis, he couldn't turn away. Would she ever cry for him like that?

Elena! When he thought of her, it gave him life. He felt like he had a soul a chance to do something good in his existence. Her love was what kept him happy, functioning, no matter what the odds. He had felt alive. Elena! He cried for her.

It makes me wanna have that hair too ...again

I did have such hair when I was young, maybe 14. But it got me headache, because my hair is pretty thick and heavy, so I cut it off - and now it's mostly red... or blond... or red...
