This is my thank you-- right now-- to those of you who have :+fav:ed this piece of art. :tighthug::heart:

One night in December of 2009, I was starving to do The Vampire Diaries characters. I was in my bedroom sitting late at night without my eyeglasses. Got a pen and newsprint scratch paper and started drawing. I wanted to see if I could capture their likeness once again without looking at a reference. I was challenging myself because I don't have an excellent memory. Don't remember numbers, lyrics, lines, etc. that well at all.

I did this with a regular bic type ballpoint pen (no penciling in), freehand, no glasses, no references.

I'm so happy with this drawing. Did I do a decent job in your eyes? I have another pic I did without my glasses and sat in an uncomfortable position just cuz I ached to draw Vampire Diaries. [link]
