This is my thank you-- right now-- to those of you who have :+fav:ed this piece of art. :tighthug::heart:


I absolutely loved :iconmrs-c:'s drawing and was impressed that she did this ink sketching in 2 hours. That picture inspired me to a fun draw-sketch challenge with her and she was wonderful enough to agree.

It's kind of funky looking, so please forgive me for imbalances, messiness, and anything else.

Don't worry, I know how it feels to be embarrassed to submit an art piece you feel doesn't meet the standards. Though I can claim this.

I did it in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Sketched with a ballpoint pen only. Cleaned up a few lines in Photoimpact, which was 10 minutes added. I included that in the total time of 1hr/20min.

Annnndddd, working with the right materials and references are so important. When you work from a tiny pic like that, funky material such as BALLPOINT PEN, and little time to do it! YOU GET CRAPPY RESULTS!!! hehehe :rofl: Yeah! But I'm happy with it and :iconmrs-c:'s renditions!

I'm not brave enough to use pen or ink without my pencil sketch first as a background (safety net, if you will) so I'm really awed by this and I think it's wonderful. :clap:
